Join other survivors for a learn-to-row weekend. Experienced coaches and volunteers will teach you the fundamentals. You will be rowing as a team by the end of the weekend! No prior rowing experience necessary!
To participate you must:
Have your doctor’s written approval, pass a swimming test & live in the DC Metro area.
The sport of crew can be a tool for recovery.
Learning to row can help you:
- Strengthen upper body muscles
- Feel better through exercise
- Improve body and self-image
- Be a part of a mutually supportive recovery team
