  • What does it feel like? Most of it isn’t that bad. It’s sort of a sandpapery feeling- maybe more of a vibration.
  • What was your recovery like? I had redness for a couple days, but nothing major.  You’ll leave the appointment fairly red and with your plasma still on your face, so I wouldn’t plan anything directly after.
  • Any helpful hints? Get the numbing cream and follow up with the ZO Skin Health product line they recommend for you. I’ve never had face creams work this well.
  • Best part? I have a plumpness and evenness to my skin I’d thought gone forever. My wrinkles and crows feet have softened, so I’ve been ok going without Botox (a huge milestone for me).
  • Would you do it again? Yes, absolutely.

Kaley Cuoco, The Big Bang Theory’s Penny Hofstadter, is refreshingly direct in an interview with Women’s Health about her breast implants.

According to the article:

And by coy Hollywood standards, her revelations are almost shocking. “Years ago, I had my nose done,” she says casually. “And my boobs—best thing I ever did. Recently I had a filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12. As much as you want to love your inner self. . . I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”

According to Marie Claire, even celebrities praise the rhinoplasty procedure. In the article, fitness guru Jillian Michaels admitted to going under the knife. “I had my nose done when I was 16 years old,” she said. “And I’ll be honest, it did change my life.”

And she’s certainly not the only one to admit it. Lisa Kudrow, the Friends and Scandal actress admitted that she elected to get a nose job in high school. “I did it the summer before going to a new school,” she told The Saturday Evening Post. “That was a good, good, good change.”

Glee alum Dianna Agron also discussed her nose job, but got hers for a different reason: having broken her nose twice. “I couldn’t get it fixed because we were in the middle of doing this concert tour and we were filming. We had a day off and I met up with some of my friends and we were dancing. And again, there was another collision of sorts—I must be turning too quickly, people don’t see me coming or something—but it’s fixed now!” she said in an interview.
