Did you know that in 2018, 313,735 breast augmentation procedures were performed, making breast augmentation the most popular procedure in the United States?
Breast implants can help you increase your self-confidence and feel more comfortable in your skin.
It may be that you simply want to increase your breast size, or that you’ve lost breast volume from aging, pregnancy or significant weight loss. Whatever your reason for considering breast implants, the skilled doctors and Bruno | Brown Plastic Surgery can help.
There is a lot to consider when making your choice about your Dulles, VA breast implants.
Consider Your Ideal Implant Projection and Size:
First, you should discuss the overall size or volume you’re looking to achieve. Your experienced plastic surgeon can help you choose the best implant size for the appearance you desire but will also talk you through additional considerations, such your lifestyle, skin elasticity to accommodate the implants you choose and more.
In addition to volume, breast implants come in five different profiles: Low, low plus, moderate, full and extra full projections. The profile changes the projection of your breast implants, so while not directly related to the implant size, they can affect how large or natural the implants appear.
We have three different implant options available:
- Silicone implants: More viscous than saline, a silicone shell is filled to the desired volume and offers a more natural look
- Saline implants: A silicone shell is filled to your desired volume, increasing size and shape of cleavage
- Ideal implants: Uses a series of implant shells nested together and two separate chambers that hold saline, providing a natural feel and youthful look
For those patients that do not want to use implants, we also offer breast augmentation with fat grafting.
